I've been seeing a lot of people online complaining about the face model for angela, and whining about how she's not pretty enough. The background of her presence in silent hill is centered around the sexual abuse she faced as a child, seeing as such, I see no reason why a change in face models would matter. I am becoming strongly convinced that a lot of the people complaining about this have not played the original sh2 or have engaged with silent hill at all.

I hope some of you are aware that some victims of SA do end up, "getting better" for lack of better wording. They move on and thrive and live successful lives without issues.

Angela just couldn't sadly. It would be nice if she could have been saved. But alas that is not the case with all victims.

I don’t have an issue with how she looks, but I would take issue with any developer who created a design, then changed it to please a mob. If the developers change a design for themselves, cool. I would just hope no creator would change their art for someone else, whether it’s a character model, an object or an environment.

Never said I was interested in her at all, I just am aware that being sa'ed does not make you a goblin from birth (this being for anybody, as being sa'ed would not turn a cheerleader into an ogre obviously) and think it's awful for people to state someone should be found as unattractive due to being the victim of SA.

Your the folks saying she should not be looked upon as attractive due to being a victim of SA. that hateful attitude towards victims of SA is entirely on you folks and from your own mouths.

From what I've seen though, it comes from terminally online people who cannot fathom the idea that real life women do not look like top models! I've seen so many women who looked like Angela, either when grocery shopping or when I walked around at the university. So when they say that she's ugly/unrealistic I think it speaks volume about the kind of people they are. Hopefully one day they'll stop watching so much porn.
