Fix found for FSR 3.1 + frame generation crazy stuttering + bugged textures issue

I found this fix by accident when I wanted to install an Reshade preset as a mod

My graphic card is an RTX 3060 12gb edition, a core i9 11900K, 16 GB ram, and a Samsung 980 EVO NVME

I have tested the following steps in the initial forest section of the game which is very graphic demanding, so I'm haven't tried other sections from the game yet. Also, FSR 3.1 Generation unlocks 60 FPS cutscenes

1 Find in Google the last Reshade version from the Reshade official website

2 Find the download section, and then download either the [Download ReShade 6.3.1] or [Download ReShade 6.3.1 with full add-on support]

3 Run the installer, and the program will ask you to select the game executable file, find [SilentHill (SHProto.exe) and click on it

4 Select the DirectX 10/11/12 option

5 Click on [Install]

6 During the following prompts after you click install, DO NOT touch nor select anything, just allow the Reshade to get installed

7 The reshade files will be installed in the location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SILENT HILL 2\SHProto\Binaries\Win64

8 Once you opened the game you can select the FSR 3.1 and frame generation, modify all the game graphic settings you need, and close the game so it can build shaders again

With all the steps you should be able to minimize the crazy hell

Dlss is normally better with your card (I have 3070ti), but ou suggest to use fsr instead?

4k full ultra and dlss quality I have 25 40 fps for now..

In my case it just broke Frame Generation. I'm getting the same FPS with it On and Off. So, maybe that's why you noticed that the stuttering is gone? Or is it just my issue?

it worked but when i went back to the bathroom at the start it became 1fps cant even move without exiting the game
