In the original it was also a lot easier to see the pistons pumping in/out of the walls too. Yes the whole boss is meant to look disturbing. It was also interesting to see how each person's Silent Hill looks different catered to their personal trauma.

that fight is ridiculous in the OG. it takes like 3 rifle bullets to put him down, he barely moves and it's dead.
