Unfortunately Im at 4 minutes trying to load from splash screen. Okay it loaded.

I can manually add it but all I get when I do that is "program doesn't support optimization"

I uninstalled the nvidia app then reinstalled it, now it shows a profile for it.. smh lol

The driver notes state nothing about Silenthill, in any form.

Since xx80+ series also suffer from this it's likely not related to VRAM limitations indicating that it's either a software bottleneck or maybe not related to GPU at all.

Nowhere does it list this driver improves sh2.

I keep having an issue with installing Nvidia drivers for Silent hill 2 remake. Before i installed the newest driver I was getting around 120 fps in the intro of the game with FSR + frame generation to now only getting 64 fps.

Only day one DLSS support has been announced so far by Nvidia. I think OP is haphazardly going on a search for Steam awards with this thread. She starts out acting like it's all about a new driver, then admits she's using a mod and turned off gsync/vrr, hasn't even bothered mentioning her spec or basic settings, and can't for the life of her even spell stuttering right.

The new drive has an "optimal settings profile" for SH2
But only works on GeForce experience. And it's just that... a profile.

That's not a driver though lol. I only install drivers, and not all the other bloat ware so I'm good on that. Still odd why they haven't released a official driver though. Maybe nvidia has something against the team or something?

Just did the same and now it's showing up as an option
