Why is it always the starting restroom? I have to stare at the line of dirty urinals every time I boot up the game. It's kinda gross and gets old.

Come on, Bloober. At least make the background change with story progression. Or just make one that looks like the original.

Edit: beat the game months ago and the main menu changed to the Lakeview room. Someone necro'd this post.

Toilets are essential and don't spoil any story.
I think toilet is the right choice. It is the beginning and end of the game. Makes sense.

I just came across this thread and wanted to ask... how is it that the game ends in a toilet? This comes from someone who has 100% achievements and finished the game at least five times. Do you mean because in many endings we see the events thereof unfold in the parking lot?

There's no excuse for the PC version to not enjoy comparable performance to the console version on recommended hardware. The game is at fault and Bloober Team and Konami are to blame.
