Um, no? To my knowledge the PS2 didn't run at 60 fps. Now the cutscenes are locked to 30 for whatever reason, which is weird because they actually run just fine if you get the mod to uncap them to 60. Weird design choice, but the game itself runs at 60--something the PS2, AFAIK, was incapable of doing.

you need 30fps locked to be able to run this game stutter free like the og though. this game runs worse and is buggier than the og

A) Someone posted a link to blooper addressing this in a steam post saying they are working on a patch

B) I haven't personally experienced a lot of stutter. Some here and there, but nothing that makes the game unplayable

C) Others will say the same thing

D) Instead of complaining about it and calling the game crap, why not just wait for the patch?

It runs just fine, very slight hitches every so often but those are completely unnoticeable especially if you use GSync/Freesync (with the correct settings) unless you're monitoring frametimes. The problem with PC gaming is that you can't just use it like a console there are various windows/gpu/monitor/game settings that can make things run terribly.

its very noticeable unless youre used to playing stutter trash games...in which case, you shouldnt have an opinion on technical performance
Manria and Mangela are the problem - their terrible design and coding make the game puke itself to oblivion. Understandable. :steamhappy:

But it's not, can you show me it happening along with some monitoring stats and explain some of your settings?

Mine was terrible stutter-fest when I first got it and just ran it without changing anything but it runs great now but if I change a couple or maybe even one setting back it will throw everything off.

I know people expect it to just work on release which sure would be nice as well as certain things like GSync/Freesync should just be an off/on option that just works without being needlessly complicated but that's just not how it is unfortunately. However, in a lot of cases it's easy to solve most issues on your own if you are willing to spend a few minutes tracking down what's going on and have a basic understanding of how things work.

The PS2 actually has the most games that run at 60fps of all of the 3D consoles
