Frankly OG Maria outfit should be an official toggle

Textures are already in the game with the Jack's Inn easter egg, it also took modders only 3-4 days to implement, so should be no problem for Bloober to support officially.
Of cause we don't want to spoil Maria's existence too early, so a toggle should be a new game plus exclusive, put it right under James's masks toggle. Good word of mouth guaranteed.
RE4 had additional costumes for Ashley both in the original and in the remake, so bonus outfits for important NPCs are not even all that rare.

you are asking them one of the many things they should have offered if they cared about making a faithful translation, and should be obv, but didnt, and likely wont.

Yup, optional more retro or more out there outfits and masks would be a great NG+ option.

Look, I like the game for the most part and believe Bloober really cared. This topic is not meant to be another troll thread to bash the game.
It's just that there are some things here and there I disagree with, some unfortunately would be near impossible to change officially (so I can only hope for mods), while others should be really easy to add in a patch such as the subject of this thread.
