Konami/ Blooper PLEASE Silent Hill 1 Remake

Yeah, Silent Hill 2 Remake has got some technical issues, no question. Frame rate and stuff, but in general it's one of the greatest remakes ever made. The atmosphere, the graphics, it's a full return of Silent Hill! They can do it and the sellings are fantastic as well.

So please now a Silent Hill 1 Remake!

Yeah, at this point, they should probably just remake the rest of the original quadrilogy of games. It's really the best franchise in gaming, in terms of story. I'd rather gamers have a chance to actually play through the games instead of hearing some insufferable YouTube video essayist give their simplistic opinions on the story and lore of Silent Hill (muh hell symbolism, it's a PRISON!!!, it's purgatory, it's all a dream etc etc). Most gamers are realistically not going to load up the originals on PC and install fan patches and whatnot. True fans like us will, but that's besides the point.

Silent Hill 1 sold 2 million copys in 1999. Business wise SH1 makes the most sense.

Except the video essays and discussion on the lore and symbolism within the storytelling of the game are part of what makes Silent Hill fun. It's chock full of symbolism, hidden double meaning, etc. It's a true psychological horror experience and that is a very big part of its unique identity. Any true fan from the OG days should recognize and appreciate that about the games.

SH4 would be the worst of 1,3 and 4. The hub system with these strange levels of Silent Hill instead of a full town was meh, even if the idea with the apartment wasn't too bad. Also the focus on Walter was way too much on a single person as a villein, while the evil of Silent Hill in prior always used to be more, bigger, more fantastic and less direct, it was abstract. Walter was a clear personification, Silent Hill 1 was simply mad, bizarre and absurd.
