The titles are a bit misleading, sort of clock bait, but the videos aren't as one-sided as you'd think. Still they definitely strike hard at the cult around the remake.

Both of them discovered and admitted that hating something gives them more money than making videos where they praise a game. Which unfortunately is how most of youtube works nowadays.

One of the smartest answers here. Everyone is allowed to have an opinion, but telling others off because it's "too hype", "too woke" or whatever simply shows that pathetic creatures always just want to be against something and celebrate their war against that something. It's not exactly how the game is in their heads, it's dirt.

That's a pretty fair assessment.

The game is fun enough (it's definitely not bad) but it really doesn't capture the anxiety of the original. The remake has also removed and/or toned down a few of the more 'controversial' aspects of the original which I felt added to the horror.
