Something missing from the remake

I think a really crucial part of the main game was the soundtrack by Akira Yamaoka. I feel like a lot of the tracks were missing from the remake, even ones that were included such as "Alone in the town" which is only heard as background noise during the theatre segment with Eddie and Laura. Even tracks used such as "Blank fairy" towards the end of lakeview hotel was only played briefly and ended abruptly. For me personally, these tracks made the original game and gave a huge boost to the atmosphere. Don't get me wrong the sound design of the remake is phenomenal but the choice to not include particular songs from the soundtrack seems like an odd choice to me.
