It seems in the grounds of Dead Space and Callisto Protocol.
I wouldn't mind a survival horror that has no combat (meaning you cannot kill the enemy) but still has resource management to maintain health and distract/stun enemies to evade them, something along the lines of Amnesia The Dark Descent.
I'm not sure about the setting but if SH2 remake is now their baseline in term of quality I'm certainly interested.
I'm also interested. So far I liked what little is known and what can be seen. The studio is likely growing and the new IP seems promising.
1 M sales in 3 days.
They bragged about it so that means they are happy with that figure.
Based on BT previous projet SH2 probably did cost between 10 and 20 M€.
I guess economics aren't your thing but yes it's definitively a success.
They have likely more than doubled their investment already
It is amusing how quickly this discussion has reverted to characterising SH2R as a flop, particularly before the actual budget has even been disclosed.
Also people need to remember that the game didn't made all the money from the sales, the various platforms and retailers (if physical) keep their cut.
This game is still in the red and i'm amazed at the massive cope of people that don't understand how the industry works that genuinely believe that this game made a profit lmao.
Their previous game (the medium) did cost 7 M€. They are in Poland, not in California.
1) CDPR Witcher 3 costed 50 millions, their next game Cyberpunk 450 millions. They are also polish btw.
2) Blooper is just the developer. Konami is the publisher and Konami decided the budget of the game, not Blooper. Which means that their previous game's budget has no mean in the discussion.
CDPR has moved to California quite a while ago.
You actually made my argument for me!
You 2nd argument is extremely weak. It doesn't work like this. The publisher will pay as little as he can. It's a business, not a charity.
Tags say combat and difficult.
I doubt there's much walking in this one.
