That would be a bummer
The Resident Evil 4 remake at least added Separate Ways as DLC even if some kind of constraint kept them from including it with the main game
Unless they make it at least x2 longer/bigger.
It depends on money as usual, we don't know if Konami paid for that specific DLC to be made along with the base game like Capcom did for RE4Remake.
Born from a Wish needs a lot of rework if they ever want to release it for a remake.
They wanted more money, and unlike the base game of the remake which was I would argue a downgrade (though still very good in its own right). Separate Ways was a substantial improvement over the original which always felt like a budget addition hastily thrown together.
A little different, Capcom owns its developers and they have several at all times working on Resident Evil. Konami hired this developer for a specific project.
Lets see if they can resolve the technical issues first then see about a possible dlc.
While it is true the remake is double the length of the original. I don't think Born from a Wish has anything really to offer. I feel like they should be spending more time on a Silent Hill 4 remake instead of expanding out a 10-15 minute extra thing added to sell Xbox copies. I also feel like the additions added to the game already hits the feeling, implications and themes that Born from a Wish had anyways.
I can't see why they'd remake SH4 when it was so contentious and did such a bad job feeling like Silent Hill that people accused it of being a random stand-alone horror game Capcom dressed up as Silent Hill sometime during development to aid sales
The next logical step would be remaking SH1 since PS1 games are starting to look horribly aged by this point
Silent Hill 2 always had those references to Walter Sullivan, it was likely the writers for Silent Hill 4 just used that throwaway environmental storytelling as a foundation for it's story
But the Born from a wish DLC wasn't even included in the original PS2 release either.
