Is it worth playing on hard?

Completed the game on standart difficulty, want to get other endings, but it seems like there's no particular reason for it. I mean you don't even get an achievement for it.

On NG+ you'll find the chainsaw. That's enough reason to play it again and get revenge on those who hurt you haha

If you're bored enough. Didn't see much difference especially with the bossfights. Nurses and manequins are menace on Hard but aside from that it's the same.

No problem, I understood you. I'm just trying to imply that on hard mode if things get too difficulty you can always equip the chainsaw.

Yeah I was kinda annoyed there was no achievement for it. I completed my first playthrough on hard combat/hard riddles. IMO it's only worth it on your first playthrough to get the best survival horror experience, and the game is really easy on hard anyway...

I liked the Hard/Hard playthrough (just finished today) for New Game + but I won't lie that some of the puzzles had me confused, a couple were just the wording and were earlier on in the game so it wasn't a big deal. Go for all melee (chainsaw) and never use guns. You do get a cheever for that one. Also 2 of the humorous endings are faster and you can keep a save spot for doing both.

except the original was a shorter game and it was a different time where you as a player probably didn't had money to buy 5-10 games a month.
