softlocked - is this a common bug?

I'm at the part after you find Maria's body (no spoilers pls, never played before) after getting chased around by mr pyramid head near the end of the game, and there is NOTHING i can interact with - i think i've bugged the game completely, because the sword thing is stood outside of the stone it's supposed to be in, has no collisions, and i can't interact with it. it loaded in before it was supposed to, i think - it sorta just showed up before when the big rotating room was in, and i interacted with it then. after pulling it, it just vanished - didn't think anything of it at the time but after checking walkthroughs and stuff, i guess there's nothing else i can do. is this a common bug or am i literally ♥♥♥♥♥♥

You must bring this sword near wall in next room. If sword don't have interaction, then it's bug. But this bug is not common in my game i interact with sword inside broken stone cube. Sword fall on ground, and then i can interact wit him and slowly carried it to the wall.

Known issue. There's some solutions in this thread if you don't wanna wait for a patch.
