Save File Deleted

I uninstalled and reinstalled and all of my saves are wiped. Does anyone have a save file around when James leaves the hospital to chase after Laura? I'm at the part right after you walk through the long dark hallway to west silent hill. Any save near there would be a huge help.

Not sure what you're referencing. I didnt have mods installed. I was running the game with -dx11 on Linux and it got screwed up. So I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and then found out it overwrote my saves.

Apparently the game doesn't have cloud saves. That may or may not be the cause of the issue when reinstalling the game.
