Wait until you see secondhand prices for Silent Hill physical games, especially the original and PS2 titles.

Almost, noninteger overflow of 99. Maybe the PC port of the OG version will go for 420.69 currencies though. The good art design tax strikes again.

get used to it. this is the 'standard' price for games nowadays. Blame Sony, i think they started pushing 69.99 when the PS5 came out.

Coincidentally i think they started pushing 59.99 when PS4 came out.

I'm probably talking out of my ass but around the times those consoles came out is when prices went up.

Still nothing compared to SNES game prices in the early/mid 90s. I remember paying 79.99 for Final Fantasy 3

They're releasing many games with that price, is the community fault for buying at those prices, so the developers will understand this as something normal and it's not.

The 'community' actually buys at far higher prices if you check the resale market for a lot of these games. If you think ps5's expensive now just wait until it's an ancient relic for playing 4 remakes of ps2 games on.

I also agree, I think with this being a remake and singleplayer game it should have been lower, 50-60 would have been ok

A few months after a release it will be 15~30% or more off longer you wait...

If you mean too much for a remake I agree, should cost $50 or less, devs already have a foundation/framework to copy then just "update" the game to "current standards"...

Considering how bad the average AAA game is nowadays I'm perfectly happy to wait for sales

waiting on sales is paying with time, the only way to be truly economical is to throw all your money and belongings into a dumpster immediately before you become gollum.

Wait for a sale, it will drop to $5 in some years, especially in bundles out of Steam

Code veronica is actually so long im not sure anyone's beaten it. Maybe Capcom just posted the cutscenes online through burner accounts and everyone else pretends to have beaten it not knowing no one else has.
