I think we all agree that tank controls are dated crap, and RE2 Remake forcing you to constantly turn your back and run while engaging enemies just looks and feels dumb. Being able to quickstep is much better.
They could've toned down the iframes, but you dodging around a few enemies on easy for 30 seconds doesn't really prove the dodge breaks the game.
When did I say it breaks the game? I said it was AWESOMESAUCE for my ROFLCOPTER!
Even the dodge elevated the eddie boss fight, just look at the comparison. In the original you stand there and hit him with a pipe.
However in the remake, you might have to push the dodge button after swinging twice to win. Very innovative and skilled!

You might have to press the dodge = win button after swinging twice. They really switched it up!
If you played on a harder difficulty it would be even better.
Good thing they didn't add a block
Good thing there's no heavy attacks
Good thing there's no shove/kick
Good thing there's no parrying
It's just dodge to win baby!!
