Sounds coming from dualsense controller?
Im using a ps5 dualsense controller, and Im noticing some sounds are still coming from it? Like, James' swinging attack, but the rest are coming from my headphones. Its very distracting.

I'm aware you can disable the ps5 controller as an audio device, but this way It'll stop having rumble features.

is there any way to have both rumble features AND not have any stupid audio coming from it?

From the sounds of it, they might be using audio haptics. Unless there's a controller speaker volume slider, you have to deal with it meanwhile. For me, the controller speaker is quieter than in other games that use it.

So, no solution, thanks

wire your dual sense via USB C to your PC. Then go to volume mixer find the dualsense speaker volume ( turn it down to 0). DONT disable the speaker, a a sound device, just turn its volume down to 0.

Don't want to do that? Use some tape to block the holes of the speaker lol. Or get xbox controller, or MouseKeyboard.. you have plenty of options

Have you tried using DS4Windows with your Dualsense? There's a lot of customization options

I've recently deleted it, because it was preventing me from connecting my controller wirelessly, is there an option to mute all sounds coming from dualsense controller there?

You can definitely stop it by choosing to emulate an xinput device on there, that’s for sure

Guess not, you'll lose those with DS4Windows. Apparently it can't control anything on the Dualsense unless it's emulating a DS4 or Xinput. Sorry I couldn't help

It’s fine, thank you for trying at least.

Have you tried DSX instead of DS4?

DSX can enable in-game radio sound through the controller, along with Adaptive Triggers and full Haptic Feedback and Rumble. You'll feel the rain, combat, etc.
The lightbar will also show your HP from Green to yellow, orange and red.

However, you'll need to purchase the app here on Steam, and it's DLC for full support. There’s a free version available online, but it’s sadly an older build without full dualsense support.

It was on sale for about €7 for both just a week ago. If you're interested, check out DSX on the store page!

You can also use it for whatever game you'd like that supports any controller, to setup your own haptic feedback/trigger support!
Example, I use a custom Adaptive Trigger to simulate guns in Red Dead Redemption 2, which really enhances the feel of shooting, as I'm sure you already know, owning a DS5.

Hope I could be of some help at least. :piewpiew::lunar2019deadpanpig:

Until Bloober fixes it, you can plug any 3,5mm audio jack into the controller's audio port. Busted old earphones, just a jack cut off, adapter etc. Mutes the sounds, keeps the haptics.
