HELP NEED A SAVE, lost my save edit:no longer, cloud saves patched in
Hi, since there's no cloud(thanks Konami) I lost my save while playing on Boosteroid. Does anyone have a save where you meet Maria in the park for the fist time. Around that. I want to keep it in the chance there's a cloud save later and I don't need to replay my hours. Thanks.

Are you afraid to start over from scratch? Too scared?

No, but I would rather not. Have very limited free time. Also will not start again unless they put cloud saves in cause it might get deleted by boosteroid so the save management is out of my control.

While Im on PS5 and can't personally help, there are save games online that you can take and put in your folder. Check for SH2 Remake saves.

What? No I used boosteroid, it's a streaming service, but unfortunately it destroyed my save. If there were cloud saves there wouldn't be a problem, so I hope they patch that in before my month runs out. I am not gonna start again with the danger of my game getting deleted again, it's not a roguelite.

Well I refunded, in case the mouse icon dissapears so you know. If they do cloud saves I may rebuy or if not bite my tongue and get it on PS5 or xbox in a year.

So, refunded or not? Did you get to try the saves?

Refunded. I can't try the saves before they enable cloud as I need to upload them and I don't have the means to do that with the current Boosteroid system, I do have the means to do it on Steam though. I don't have a PC capable of running this game, I do PC gaming on Rog Ally for lower end games, and high end I do streaming like GFN, and now Boosteroid for Silent Hill 2. Cloud gamign is great for me, just need cloud saves to keep my important saves safe.

I do plan on getting the game again when they do, or relenting and getting it on PS5, but I'd rather play it on PC.

I refunded NMS back in the day, and since rebought it on PS when it got good.
I did the same with Cyberpunk, except it was from PS and then bought it on PC. \
You notice I said refunded, not "tried to get a refund".

Now this game is not bad at all, it's an excellent game, but having no cloud saves and me playing it on a streaming service that is not good at keeping local saves, or backing them up is a tech issue.

Play hours matter for automatic refunds, no questions asked. You just need to ask nicely man. If I've seen before hand there were no cloud saves I would not have gotten it.

Speaking of saves, hopefully it will eventually be possible to make a collection of saves with which it is possible to unlock the various endings.
I love SH2, having played the original for the first time in 2005 on my Pentium 4. But I don't want the passion for unlocking achievements to make me play it mechanically. Or after 10 hours of play, get the wrong ending (achievement collection).

Achievements are a great touch to feel like you love a game more. But sometimes they become a hobby that can make you weary of repeating an experience that you would otherwise love more.

I'm now on my second playthrough. Going for 100% of the collectibles and trying for the achievement of completing without a radio.
