I do plan on getting the game again when they do, or relenting and getting it on PS5, but I'd rather play it on PC.
I refunded NMS back in the day, and since rebought it on PS when it got good.
I did the same with Cyberpunk, except it was from PS and then bought it on PC. \
You notice I said refunded, not "tried to get a refund".
Now this game is not bad at all, it's an excellent game, but having no cloud saves and me playing it on a streaming service that is not good at keeping local saves, or backing them up is a tech issue.
Play hours matter for automatic refunds, no questions asked. You just need to ask nicely man. If I've seen before hand there were no cloud saves I would not have gotten it.
I love SH2, having played the original for the first time in 2005 on my Pentium 4. But I don't want the passion for unlocking achievements to make me play it mechanically. Or after 10 hours of play, get the wrong ending (achievement collection).
Achievements are a great touch to feel like you love a game more. But sometimes they become a hobby that can make you weary of repeating an experience that you would otherwise love more.
I'm now on my second playthrough. Going for 100% of the collectibles and trying for the achievement of completing without a radio.
