Ultimate FIX for UE error crash FINALLY!!

I've been going crazy the past few days regarding the notorious UE error crash that plagues this game which looks like this:

Here are the solutions:

1) Start the game with the -dx11 command. Unfortunately, this will disable all UE5 engine features and RT.

2) Update your windows 11 to 24H2. This solved the problem a bit for me but still crashed after a bit.

3) DISABLE ANY OVERCLOCK AND XMP. This was my ultimate fix, I had my i9 9900k OC'd to stable 5GHz with XMP on, and rarely did it crash in any game until I took a shot in the dark and decided to return everything to stock settings.... And ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ did it work flawlessly. No crashes until now. So I recommend disabling any OC to both your GPU, CPU and XMP. This game is so susceptible to crashes.

Hope this solves everything. Oh and I absolutely recommend the Ultra Plus mod on nexus mods site to fix stuttering and the DLSS3 mod.

I swapped to a 4070 ti super and was overclocking on my 2070 super and I beat the whole game. Now I can't load it at all lol

Go to your Steam Library - then RIGHTKLICK on SILENT HILL 2> PROPERTIES>Installed FILES >Verify your gamefiles. That fixed it! :)
