Yes, I'm about to go mad because this game is relentlessly hard and I'm about to break down and begin to destroy everything and hurt myself.. So i guess i call and get some help: Hello, yes I'm in alternate hospital... every nurse just kicks my ass, and if not, the damn manequin next to her or the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ figure crawling nearby. I have to take the strategy to beat an enemy and run back to save, kill one and go all the way back to save and repeat, and repeat AND REPEAT...and goI



OH god! And the loading screen after death takes ages!!!!! I need help!

And no matter how many time's you smack them when their down you'l never know which one's will get back up lol I know me smacking everything I kill like 5 time's is useless but I still do it anyways lol.

To OP take it slow the mannequins are ambushers you can hear them walking around most of the time you can see them just sitting there you can in fact avoid almost all of them same with the Nurses if your in the dark and walk around with your flashlight off you can avoid them as well.
A tip for Nurses shoot the knees they will fall then smash them when their down or save the shotgun and head shot them.
A tip for the mannequins dodging to the left or right then smack twice then dodge to the left or right again and repeat.
Same with the pukers left or right smack twice sometimes you can get 3 hits in repeat.
Almost everything can be agro'ed to you with your flashlight just aim the light at a single thing from a distance and inch to it and only flash the light on that single thing then walk backwards when it notices you so ou can fight it alone and if your overrun just run away and gain distance most things will loose sight of you pretty fast if you go around a corner also use the environment and get something between you and the thing your fighting that can help a lot at well.

you can shoot nurses two or three times in the same shin and they'll fall down, where the next hit knocks them prone for a good stomping. Shotgun is VERY good for this.

Wait, you can make the nurses fall by shooting them in the knees? WHAT?? I literally finished a playthrough and made it back into Brookhaven in NG+ and I had no idea that was a thing!!!

sounds like a skill issue. 4 Headshots with the pistol and the nurse is dead

He might be playing on pad where asking for multiple shots in quick succession to the same specific limb is unrealistic. And even with a mouse the time you have to wait between shots for the crosshair blooming to f off is annoying especially against quick enemies like mannequins or ones that sway and gyrate all over the place like Nurses.

Even worse if you're going for In Water where you have to play most of game at critical health.

Oh yeah!!!! i just beat my first ending on hard! I died like a 1000 times on the way but... FIRST TRY no deaths on killing final boss on all his phases!!! Oh yeah! So exiting, i run out of healing and rifle bullets!! i switched to hand gun on the end!!!! So exiting. Definitely you have to play this game on hard.

Thanks for the tips, shooting for the legs on enemies and then bash them up works a lot. And BTW on some thought bosses i had to switch from joypad to mouse+keyboard
