Help with Labyrinth area

Hi, im having trouble trying to figure out why when i rotate the small cube to have the symbol needed to access the Desolate area nothing happens. The door to this symbol is caged up but on videos online it shows open what am i missing? I already made the suspended cage drop and jumped on the hole. Is my game glitched?

NVM i figure it out by looking on reddit, if this happens to anyone you need to reload the autosave before you jump on the hole and that will fix it.

Glad you solved it, but yeah, apparently something sometimes glitches at this part, because the passage and the knife briefly showed then disappeared and the desolate path wasn't unlocking. As you said reloading fixed it, but just in case, always save before doing the next labyrinth part folks

Man i've tried doing this and some reddit tips to fix the loading issue of the next area but it still hasn't worked for me. Hope they patch it soon.

I'm glad it helped some, I do really hope it gets patched because i want to do a second walkthrough to try to beat the game under 10 hours for the achievement.
