also another thing is i just killed something thats very close to an item in a glass cabinet, i try to break the glass to get the health item inside and it keeps auto attacking the dead body instead.
very annoying.
It's like a cursor, but in a 3D field...meaning if you are too close to objects (especially desk drawers) the "cursor" moves beyond or travels above the point.
As others have said, and I picked up right away what was going on, it's not quite a bug so much the game wanting you in what it considers valid distances/angles. Being too close doesn't qualify apparently (the immediately above post explains what I felt was happening, it's like being too close doesn't allow you to look up or down enough to target it), even though it seems a bit counterintuitive.
This is one of the few things dampening my experience too, but it's definitely been a minor thing for me.
Use the middle of the flashlight as reference.
It's james, yes i'm not kidding. you have to wait till james is fixed on it. like his head bolb towards it.
