HP victus LowLevelFatalError

i bought silent hill 2 and it wont start for some reason , every time i start the game i get this error ,

LowLevelFatalError [File:D:\SilentWorkspace\501T-BL\Engine\Source\Runtime\D3D12RHI\Private\D3D12Util.cpp] [Line: 868] hr failed at D:\SilentWorkspace\501T-BL\Engine\Source\Runtime\D3D12RHI\Private\Windows\WindowsD3D12Viewport.cpp:222 with error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED

idk whats the problem i tried everything and nothing seems to work . Anyone having the same problem or has a way to fix this ??

Rtx 4060 8gb

Intel i5-14500hx

16 gb of ddr5 ram

Ssd 1tb

I play on a victus laptop

Looks like gpu driver error. Try reinstall nvidia driver.

"error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED" is a common error in Windows for when your GPU/graphics card stops responding. Hence, this can mean your hardware has an issue, or more likely, your GPU driver has an issue. I'd make sure you are on the latest driver, but if you already are then I'd suggest doing a Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) uninstall of the driver to make sure it is completely cleared out, and then installing the driver again.
