A game with traversal stuttering/hitching issues can never be considered to be buttery smooth. There is a clear contradiction in concepts and terms here. If the game runs smoothly as butter, it does not stutter on traversal; if it stutters on traversal, it does not perform buttery smooth—basic propositional logic rules.
