Me: getting PTSD thinking about Spider Mannequin Legs in Prison.
There are four legged human-sized things that crawl on walls and attack by jumping on you, but they are much more human-shaped than bug-shaped, only their animations are not human.
Additionally there are somewhat bigger than human insect-like bosses that are not actually insects at all. My best comparison is that they kinda vagually resemble giant robotic demon water striders, but on land. That's the best vague description I can give without spoiling the look completely.
