Toluca lake glitching?

when i get on the boat to get to lakeview hotel, the game bugs out and just has me rowing on the lake endlessly. (i've done 2 runs with this happening) i'm also trying to get the in water ending, it didn't do this before the patch update. is anyone having this issue too?

I have done the lake part last night.
I always rowed my boat towards the light in the distance, which sometimes jumps.
I also got the Water Ending without doing anything special except select the rusted door instead of the crimson one. The later gave me Maria's ending. I now want the Leave ending, but I guess I will have to replay the game :D
