It doesn't run well even on a 4090. Still worth it, game is incredible.

They are working on a patch day and night for almost three weeks. When it will be released no one knows.

it works fine. I have a 3070 and an i7 9700k with 16 gigs of ram.

How much fps?

It works very well on my RTX 2070, Ryzen 7 2700x in 4k. 30fps. You should get more like 40-45 with your card, granted you use reasonable settings.

it needs a patch its crazy how bad the fps is all i want is 240fps but no lol

Apart from well known stutter problems, that however are not as bad as people say, the game will run just fine on your PC. I played it on a 7 years old PC with RTX 3060 Twin Edge 12 GB which is barely over the minimum requirements and I had a blast. If you install it on SSD, you will have no problems in reaching at least 60 fps.

One of the most important components that some people neglect is a fast nvme SSD and having the game installed on it. What’s the point of having an RTX 4090 if you’re going to play this game using a slow hard disk drive. It’s like some spent all their money on the RTX 4090 but didn’t have money left over to upgrade to nvme SSD.

The loading stuttering that some people complain about is because of their storage solution not their graphics card. The other thing is some people don’t know how to configure their settings to match their card

Although it's true new games should be installed on SSDs, it's not a solution for the bad performance associated with SH2.

OP, please check gameplay videos before believing the crap people say here. Game is a stutter fest, bad optimization that drastically changes from area to area. Bloober Team itself is aware of this and working on improvements.

Can you define "stutter fest" how many stutters roughly is that? Every few seconds, every minute? Or even better could you, since this apparently happens to you, make a quick couple of minute video running around demonstrating the stutters? Be great if you could also display your settings at the start and use some monitoring software showing at least basic stats.

Let me describe my experience regarding stuttering. It mostly doesn’t exist. Except for the occasional less than one second stutter that occurs every time the game needs to load a new area. If that’s not your experience then I would be looking at either your settings or your hardware.

I play on RTX3070 & Ryzen 3700X (Win11). Usually I have ~45-50 fps by 2560 resolution, depends on location. Sometimes it goes low to ~30 fps and then go back.

This. The game runs exceptionally well. If someone with the fastest card on the planet supposedly can't run the game smoothly then more than likely the problem is located in front of the monitor rather than behind it. Either that, or there are unreasonable expectations, e.g. 144 fps at 8k without DLSS.

Interestingly enough, none of the people complaining about the game's performance post anything regarding their system config and game settings.

I agree with you completely on this, well said.

Edit: Not sure if this was before or just after last patch but I recorded a quick video of whatever area I was in at the time running around going up and down stairs etc trying to induce stutters. I'll make a longer one tonight
