Yeah, that will get people to buy this game. Go get 'em tiger!
what i don't need any hot slut in game, i just want to play remake of game that was made years ago.
i want characters from original game not new ones, and worst looking ones
Is what it is, things change, they can't keep the same characters because now all games use motion capture and real persons for facial expressions. You don't like it? Then go and play the original or just find anything else.
Tru tru, but changing characters are bad imo, but yeah this why i won't buy nor support them sadly
That's a pointless response. People know what their options are and they're doing what you're saying to do, to no buy the game and go find something else to do. The person you're responding to, along with so many others, is simply voicing their reasons for doing just that.
What I think it's pointless is not buying an horror game you wanted just for the look of certain characters. But hey, people can do with their money and their life whatever they like.
SH2: Remake developers shall hire talent and polish their models, there are improvement space for that.
This remake isn't actually SH2. It's really someone's pet project wearing SH2's skin for the sake brand recognition and a cheap cash grab. Changing the appearance of the characters is a huge red flag, especially for why they're changing the characters. They're not just changing the appearance of the characters. They're changing the nature of the characters as well as the story. That's huge.
SH2 wasn't beloved for the last 23 years for its graphics or gameplay. It is the storyline that makes it special. The original was a finely tuned and very deliberately designed with layers of symbolism dealing with very touchy subjects. This includes the design of the characters.
Changing any of that illustrates a fundamental lack of understanding of the original and ultimately a waste of money.
Did you play the full game, or you just watched a gameplay and a few trailers? I think it's too soon to say if they changed the story or not.
But even so, nobody will change what the original is or was. This Silent Hill 2 Remake will be different, in some parts will be worse and in some will be better. Bloober Team is a small developer team and they are doing a good job in making the game feel like a Silent Hill is. Maybe it won't be as good as the original, but I really don't care, I've been waiting for a new release of a Silent Hill game since to many years.
Stop hating about things and have fun, we got the opportunity to enjoy for another time the horrors of Silent Hill. Even if this game is not the same, I will enjoy their own vision of Silent Hill 2, knowing that nobody can change how much I love the original game and their story / characters.
Nope. I'm going to wait for this to go on a very, very, very deep sale before I even consider buying it because I have zero reason to believe that this is anything more than Bloober's devs co-opting the SH2 name for their own game in an effort to make easy money.
