The silent hill 2 remake ISNT HERE TO REPLACE THE ORIGINAL!!!

i get your concerns and i know how much you love with passion what team silent created 23 years ago, so do i, but you make things sound a lot more tragic from what they really are. First of all, this game isnt here to replace you original silent hill 2 experience , memories, nor the emotions it gave you. Angelas backstory is still here and not censored, marias outfit is different but the symbolism behind her will still be there through the plot and the cutscenes, all the puzzles seem to be the same, save points work the same, laura looks and sounds better than ever and we also saw some scenes reimagined and well made. At the end of the day, unfortunately we cant replay original silent hill 2 for the first time again but we can play this version and experience the game in a way we havent had before . Theres no reason to bash out about a game thats not even out yet. NO ONE forces you to pre order this game. You DONT have to buy it in full price if you dont want to. And you certainly shouldnt start speculating consipirancies about sweet baby brainwashing blooper team to make james gay and eddie black. Yes, konami is a greedy trash company that overpriced this game and made stupid deluxe editions, but we shouldnt put all of bloopersteam work down when we havent even seen the final product

Oh but it is, otherwise Konami would still be selling the original and it would be patched and up to date, much like Capcom does with RE4.

Instead, the original game is abandonware. Yes, it's easy to find but that's the not the point, the point is that Konami never cared about the original (the HD remasters were a disgrace) and in their mind the remake is 100% there to replace the original.

konami doesnt care about the remaster either. it is shown by the prices and their marketing with their merch. What im saying is that this game wont replace your feelings and experience from the original game and theres no need to put down bloopers team work when we havent even played the game yet.

You don't? Well then the obvious answer is that it is a replacement. This """remake""" is looking pretty bad, and it being treated as a replacement only makes it worse.

Look, I am not sure where you are coming from on this, but for YEARS since the announcement itself this sat at NUMBER 1 on my wishlist, the things I've seen so far already moved it down to 30th, and it's gonna just be removed if the reviews show me more of the horrors I've been seeing. They had to get this right, and they better do something fast because the release is coming now.

Only way it isnt, is if they ported the original PS2 version, or the old PC version themselves.

But yeah, for anyone that knows, the original will always be the one they think of first.

Why wait when the vision is right there to see right now?

Dont need to wait to see that they don't understand James, or SH combat, or the importance of keeping things reserved or "subtle".

I get some SH fans are desperate for literally anything. But have some standards set.

It's the amount that's been shown that's causing the problem. Kinda how this happened. I didn't just overnight go from trusting the company behind this to where I am now, as we just went over..

I think the least they could do at this point is show a few more scenes, uncut, though like in the presentation video.

the franchise was buried since silent hill 4, Even IF blooper teams attempt at silent hill 2 remake fails, we still got silent hill F in coming. Keep in mind konami just publishes the games, Blooper team is making the remake and NeoBards Entertainment is making F
