I easily downloaded and installed the OG today, and updated it to enhanced edition.
So easy and totally worth it.
2 hours in, at the hospital with Maria and it's an amazing way to experience the classic all over again.
They even have crt filters if you want to play in 4:3 like you did back in 2001.

Combat has definitely not aged well but the fun thing about replaying this is the memory of how cutscenes used to motivate my gaming.

I recall playing original ff7 and anticipating every cutscene. It was like that with a lot of older games, and here is no exception.

I mean, the town is full of monsters. How can Eddy just eat pizza?!

Officially, youll have to search for it online on Ebay or Amazon.

But Im sure that there isnt an incredibly popular way fans know of and recommend every time. On an unrelated note, did you know that some of "my...." games are now "....abandonware........."? Sad that so many games are not officially ported "....com"

The first option where its pre-set up and you dont have to install anything.

Just put Enhanced Edition on top of that and follow the mod instructions.

i mean is it safe to... "borrow" it from "...abandonware"?....

Its not the method I had no, not at all, of course not.

Also sh subs also dont recommend that first too. Nope, never. Its always best to find a second-hand $100+ Ebay listing.

Internet Archive is a website that is genuinely trustworthy, and they have to pay to legally host, meaning things aren't staying there if they cannot pay the fee in the first place.

The Enhanced Edition patch is also 100% safe. Simply be careful where you're going.

I just want you to have a good experience in Silent Hill 2.

Yeah, the puzzle riddles can be very complex, but, there is an Easy Puzzle option, and you can still play the game battles on Hard, they made the difficulties separate, thankfully.

When I played games outside my language, I had to translate as well. I hope there is a language pack in your native tongue.
