I don't play or follow new games, by and large. You're making assumptions about people here who are very knowledgeable about SH and care about art preservation. This entire thing has opened my eyes wider to the reasons why I innately started becoming disenfranchised by modern games, so I apologize it has lifted the veil of shadowy control organizations for some people. So they can't make good, original, games with propaganda that will sell well... okay then let's change the old ones then and ride that coattail. Look around you and observe what's happening. Using such an important and beloved creation is appalling.

This is basically the only thing we can do. Laugh at them. You have to remember, this is online, so nobody is to be trusted.

A similar argument, can be linked to VR headsets. The main thing people say is "If you cant afford it, just say so". I personally, hate the entire VR scene, I want absolutely nothing to do with it, I even shut down the VR tag for steam, so I never actually see anything VR related.

With that said, I can afford any and all headsets on the market. I have been called broke, simply because I dont want to buy something I would never actually use.

There are legitmate reasons to not want the remake of Silent Hill 2. The problem is not those people with legitimate criticisms, it is the group of loud mouth jerk offs who start flinging their anti-woke, right wing rhetoric in a video game forum.

The loudest criticisms about Silent Hill 2 the game revolve around he game being woke - because Maria's belly button isn't showing and Angela's face isnt skinny. It's so old, tired, annoying, and unproductive. There's an entire game to play and many on this board can't get past one characters face, and calls it's the destruction of art. Paaaa-lease.

ah, mine and my friend I was going to gift a copy to has been canceled as well. We grew up on games like SH back in the PS days but not going to buy this DEI garbage. Man, what a way to completely KILL a once famous IP. SH2 was not even that good ether compared to SH1+3.

yup and the game will fail now, all they had to do is make a direct remaster of the game without its political agenda. I get the feeling you are happy with it some how though lol.
