Hit Detection is the same consultant company that worked with Square Enix on FF7 Rebirth that is bloated with DEI instead of being respectful to the original game. They appear in the ending credits.

Games are a form of entertainment, people want to enjoy a game without being bombarded by politics or having the opinions of whatever corporation shoved down their throat. It's a game where you fight supernatural entities it's not meant to be realistic, humor me, how will DEI add to the story of the game? It won't, it's a corporate decision to try to attract simpletons like you to the game and increase their profits, it's greed that's why the saying "get woke go broke", just wait and see the reviews the game will have when it will be released.

I haven't even once been bombarded by anything of sorts, I don't give a ♥♥♥♥. "Dei", whatever it is, doesn't add to or subtract anything I care about from any game. If not for all the sad sacks screeching about it all over the gaming internet, I wouldn't know it's there, and even if I did, when it's really hard to miss, I still doubt I'd spare half a ♥♥♥♥.

Corpos closing good studios, blocking games in countries for stupid reasons, always online requirements, whale-oriented design, ads, turning classics into live-service garbage... those things I can get behind, and it's a shame you're fighting windmills instead of the real enemies.

Activism is fine when it comes from an actual artist and isn't forced. When artistic visions are changed to promote someone ELSES agenda then we have a problem. Satire is wonderful but it's dying in purity.
