Yeah, I'm so turned off about the entire project right now. I will be watching plenty of reviews before I touch this.
The entire point of the game's dark content was to invoke horror, and offend frightened fools away from playing it. Including the offensive issues discussed in the game itself.
Angela's behavior was more important than her look even, and it's nowhere near as quirky in that opening scene. The only scene she appears to be pulling off well is the scene with Abstract Daddy.

Stop woke pandering.
Stop hiring sensitivity consultation companies.
Stop defeminizing and uglifying women.
Read the room devs - the modern audience doesn't exist.
--------------------------------------------------------------
There is no such thing as a 'modern audience' waiting secretly in the wings for DEI warriors to invite them in. There is just us, the gamers - the same audience that's always been here for the last 40+ years, welcoming in anyone, of any nationality and gender, as long as they love games.
