This is what i thought originally, I knew Yamaoka and Ito were definitely involved in it so that was who I mentioned first, and only after comment above said Sato was also involved, I mentioned him, now after re-reading it, i see that comment was meant sarcastically...

maybe in part thats true, since konami has been affected by dei, but is more likely bloober were responsible of those changes (their previous games were pretty mediocre, and they probably needed more dei funding than konami).
is hard to trust bloober, considering how they speak and try to justify the changes. most likely both konami and bloober were in agreement about "tweaking with dei the game" but selling it as "trying to be as faithful as possible" to try to avoid bad press and reactions.
