Wait how do I play silent hill 1

Is there a remake of silent hill 1 already? I never played silent hill, what do I do?

nope, you got emulation ps1, but the first game si pretty much forgotten compare to silent hill 2, aslo the silent hill games don't need the each other to work. they are their self contain story, expect maybe for 3 when it's better to play 1 first.

While I'm not disappointed for Silent Hill 2 being remade, Konami should've definitely thought harder about the first game.

You don't need to play SH1 to play SH2 (like you don't need to play Resident evil 1 to play Resident Evil 2).

BTW if you want to play SH1, you can download epsxe and download the room of Silent Hill.

silent hill 1 is very good, but as a weaker scenario than 2, give it a try but be ready for ps1 graphic and meh combat, if you can get pass that it's an awesome story and game overall

No, there is no remakes.
Play the originals. Just do it, in release order.

look up the "SH PC Guide + DL links" from the net. You'll get DL links to the original games. They run on super low-end PCs by today's standards.

Don't worry about it. 1 and 3 are connected, but 2 here is completely standalone. You'll miss nothing by skipping the first game and just playing this instead.

sh1 should've got remade first. Its controls are wonky as ♥♥♥♥ but no. We had to get SH2 first and have ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bloober team make it.
