GTX 1080 for a minimum?

GTX 1080 is ancient tech at this point my guy, almost a 7 year old graphics card. Plenty of used cards which are easily an upgrade.

indeed, it's even weaker than my RX 6600, but it still a beefy minimum requirements though.

Because of Ray Tracing performance, I saw lots of games have lower tier Nvidia GPU paired with higher tier AMD GPU on recommended because of that.

I hope I will be fine with 3070. I want to skip 4k Nvidia cards and wait for next gen.

Keep in mind that this is the same company that made 'The Medium' and to this day this game has difficulties to run on modern hardware, Bloober is one of the worst in optimizing its games for PC!!

they are still in the middle of developing the game. i obviously dont know blooper and how they work on their games but usually after being done with the game itself you start polishing it meaning optimization and bug fixing so the requirements should still change

just because they haven't been great at it in the past doesn't mean they can't get better at it, maybe they've learned from their past mistakes. we'll have to wait and see.
