I understand how video game economics function, I'm saying I think it is balanced poorly. I'm only seeing one valuable item every 4 - 5 rooms or so, and because I have to start with only the basic pistol every time because all the vendors prices are so high and the bonus money you get between runs is so low by comparison....aka too grindy.
I haven't even been able to make it to a boss yet. I might try again now that I know from one of the other threads in the discussion that enemies always give you 9mm ammo when you are completely out, I won't try as hard to conserve ammo.
If you're already doing that, then you're either getting incredibly unlucky, or not playing optimally.
After 10hrs of play time, I'd practically seen everything the demo has to offer besides one gun, lost count of how many times I'd beaten the boss, and had 10k gold left over.
I'd only ever bought a gun from the store on two occasions; the rest of my guns were found in the cave and upgraded with the stuff in the caves.
The biggest downside is that you don't get anything from the boss, even after beating it for the first time, except for game progression.
Boss should drop rare or legendary 100%, but at least Mud Cousin can be used to farm ammo
100% legendary drop rate is a bit excessive, but it def should have some good drop rates, or at least some kinda one time perma buff or something.
