Does the Barrel Attachment flavor text mean anything?
I notice some Barrel Attachments have words like "precision" and "reduce recoil". Are these just added flavor text or are there actual hidden stat benefits. The 4" and 6" barrel extensions, for example say increased precision but if its just worthless flavor text I dont really see a reason to use them with the detriment of 7-10% speed reduction.

I am pretty sure that they are just flavor text though maybe someday they will mean something.
Most barrel attachments (barrel extensions, silencers) reduce the spread of the gun, which means shots will deviate less from the point you aim at, but I don't think they affect recoil.

The -10% -1 spread barrel extension is good for zeroing the spread on snipers and rifles, but I wouldn't bother with the other barrels extensions when the silencers have the same spread reductions without a movement speed reduction.
all real effects are shown in numbers of full white colour, what's not this - lie

used to be that the Haukland flash hider actually reduced the size of the muzzle flash, which helped on visibility on certain guns, but seems like the effect was removed.

just use haukland's scilencer, same accuracy and no flashes and loud sound

I'll test it but it used to be that only haukland's flash hider reduces muzzle flash, and none of the suppressors had this effect. Atm it seems like none of the attachments at all affect muzzle flesh, or they all do it but in the same (small) amount.
I also kinda dislike the silencers in general because they make all guns sound almost the same.
