Demo feedback / critique / suggestions

[Saint Lucifer]

Enjoying the demo since a while. Promising foundation so far.
Although I have a few gripes that i want to report back:

1. Stash size needs to be way bigger.
A core feature in this game is looting, extracting, collecting and combining items. This takes up a lot of inventory space and the given global stash (atleast in the demo) is by far not enough for all that. I hope there will be stash expansions available in upcoming versions.

2. Cooking / crafting is way too obscure.
It really is not fun to hoard all these ressources without a plan what to do with them, just to eventually drag them around a thousand times for trial-and-error experiments.
A randomly appearing NPC in the Caves who is giving you vague hints towards some recipes is also not helping this issue.
I think there should be a recipe system implemented in the game, by which i mean collectible recipe items, that drop randomly in the dungeons and upon acquisition tell you exactly one cooking / crafting recipe each (like Blueprints so to speak).
Also a journal / notebook, that keeps track of all the recipes the player has uncovered.

3. Jumping does not feel good. Somehow its floaty and clunky. The base jump could be a tad higher, so you can reach normal elevated terrain. Right now you always have to step on a brick, vase or chest in order to jump up a normal elevated terrain. That feels horrible.
Another idea would be to implement a ledge grabbing feature - but that might be too much to ask. I dont know how much programming work that would be. However, ledge grabbing would be the most amazing solution.
In any case, the whole platforming aspect needs some sort of polish. I am falling down way too often in this game. That doesn't feel fluid and fun.
