Very high consumption of VRAM
Game eats up 7 gigs of vram, i don't think it should be like? Also changing the settings like framerate limit or v-sync only applies after i close and re open the game

Also having V-sync on with FPS below my refresh rate has the game start frame skipping which seems to be something that i usually have with Unity, i not sure if it's a me thing or has something to do with the way unity Vsync works, because other engines work fine with Vsync

I had the same issue, going to borderless fullscreen fixed the skipping for me.

Did the game also report high amount of VRAM usage?

It uses all 6 gigs on my GTX 1060 for some reason

Okay good to know it's not just me issue, i remember seeing the same exact problem on another unity game, but there it was only happening when going above 1080p, i'm playing sulfur at 1080p so i generally don't know why does it consume so much vram

Using 7.6gb of 7.8gb on my RTX 3070.

Can't you limit vram usage on a per game basis in the control panel for the drivers?

No, there never was such a thing, only FPS limit

Also it's not really the user who should limit the VRAM usage it's the game that need to be fixed, looking throught MSI afterburner/rivaturner overlay you can see that it actually only processes 1.5 gigs, while still using around 7gigs, basically wasting 5.5 gigs into unknown

Continuing to expand upon this thread, it seems like the more i progress to the final boss the more vram creeps up and i almost get 10 gigs of vram being used, also it does seem like the game is rather very poor at utilizing my CPU, it only uses half of 12 threads and even then they are probably load less then half at around 20 to 40% i guess, which i guess is again unity fault, i remember another unity dev saying that this engine really loves singlethread performance

Just letting you guys know we're working on a performance patch which will mainly be addressing the memory usage.

0.6.14 was released earlier today, which included a fix to handle memory management in a better way. Let us know if things are running better now.

The vram usage has decreased, so i would say it is better, performance wise seems to be the same in the HUB area with it being around 180fps, while caves still hit the 360fps lock, although i remember in the near the end areas of caves with the jumpy goblins it could drop hard to 50 fps because it would stomp the bodies of other dead goblins
