C9 WITHOUT LINKED STEAM ACCOUNT

I was playing c9 for quite some time now and for reasons unknown to me now Webzen demands from me to link my c9 and my Steam account. I don't want to link them. I see no reason why I should. Is there any way to bypass this weird webzen demand or shall I just uninstal c9 and spend my money on something else?

Add the non-Steam version as a non-Steam game if you want the Steam overlay while playing. I almost never use the Steam version, so don't encounter that. I also find it's best to avoid Steam versions of online games that update through their own launcher, rather than the Steam client, it's not uncommon for some people to run into problems they don't encounter when using the non-Steam version.

Also at the time of your, and my post, C9 was down for a rather long maintenance.

hey, i have the same problem but...
if u have a steam acc u also have a webzen acc (it belong together)
i linked my account a few years ago becouse i wanted to play c9,
but he says i have to link it again......so i tryed my old steam-webzen account
and he says(this account is already in use...try another acc)
and i don't have a other acc......

there is a change to lose your game history if i make other webzen acc
(that happends to me with other games)

It's not only that. I have siblings that pay c9 too. We have always used one, the same, Steam account, with all games and history. If I link my account to this Steam account, will they be able to log into the game too or will they have to make two more empty Steam accounts just to play in c9 on their accounts?

Also Steam is like game store to me, why would I want to link my account to a game store, even virtual one? What will I get for that? Free premium or something? No? Then <word for intercourse that starts with F> that.

The current maintenance, which isn't done yet, isn't so much of a game related one, as an account related one, as they are merging the Webzen, gPotato, and EU gPotato account systems. Then from what I remember linking your account didn't really do much anyhow, think at most it was a convenience thing at log-in, but even then when I tinkered with the Steam version, I could still log-in with whatever account I wanted to. It seems like you're just getting worked up over nothing at this point.

No, as I said, you can't play right now as C9 is still down for maintenance. Always check the status of the C9 site if you can't log in.

hi all. i was playing this game long time ago... and now i decided to play it again, when i try yo log in it saying to me "Error Code: 91306
An error occurred while registering your information. Please try again.
If the problem persists, contact Customer Support. "

Who can help with this error? to play again i created new account.

Yep.. can't link my account because it doesn't exist. Tried to recover account, which gives me a link that sends me to a page that says my account is already taken.. by me. >_<. Gave up and tried to make a new account and got 유효하지 않은 채널링 파트너계정 정보 as an error. What a joke

i just created new account and now playing alright. The issue was in Steam, to avoid it u just go to folder where is that game and run it from there.

They combined three different account systems, into one, and some usernames were in use on more than one of those three, which is why many people need to make changes to their account info. I had more than one account, with my main I didn't have to do anything, with my other when trying to log into the game I was prompted to go to the page I provided in the second link above. Once I set up a new username and password, I was able to log it in just fine immediately after doing so with the new account info.

If you are prompted to make changes to your account info you'd go to https://member.webzen.com/ONE/Integration/Login/webzen.com then select if you had originally registered a Webzen, gPotato, or EU gPotato account, and enter in that account info. Next you'd be prompted to make a new account that your old account info would be transferred to.

Go to your steam folder to steamapps then common and go to c9 then launch the game with "C9Launcher".

i tried almost evreything to play this game, can't even send a tiket to the support to fix my account,keeps asking me to update when i dont even wana change my emai adress like they want to,name/pasw il change but not my email,so im stuck
