Give us proper modern camera and I will wishlist.
Tank controls and fixed camera angles are not popular for a reason.

the tank controls are off by default though....

this game is heavily inspired by + a homage to silent hill 2/3 and i can definitely feel that in the gameplay/presentation. if you haven't played them or aren't a fan, i don't think this game is going to be for you.

I played them, I liked them (at the time) but by today's standards the gameplay in those is bad. Hollowbody feels better than those two, but the camera sucks- that's it.

Yeah, this game's just not for you. Some of us still want proper survival horror games. Tell me you're a zoomer without telling me you're a zoomer lol.

"The camera sucks", are you kidding? I LOVE to see a game that dares to use this old-school camera angles. I loved this demo, everything works exactly the way I wanted it to work.
Maybe the melee combat is a little weird, but it always was in those PS2 era survival horror games.

I don't think you know what tank controls are. Because the default control scheme is your standard 8-way run system. Little sluggish for sure, but tank controls are Up is forward at all times. Even then I swore Signalis used tank controls and it's an outstanding game.

I enjoy fixed camera angles for artistic purposes, I think a compromise would be to leave indoor fixed camera angles, but for more open spaces like hallways, and outdoors have the ability to not have a free camera but at least be able to rotate the camera 360 without having to turn your character around.

Yeah, as soon as I saw "controller recommended" on a PC game I knew the controls were going to suck. I haven't even owned a controller in over 20 years since I discovered K&B. At least optimize K&B controls on a PC game and I might give it another try.
It's a direct Silent Hill/Resi Evil homage. Tank controls and fixed camera angles are there for a reason my guy.

And what reason is that? That modern gamers lack any real skill?
There is no other reason.

It's a feature, you dumb idiot. Game tries to replicate old school horror games without that awful action-y RE4 over the shoulder thing. Go play CoD.

You get first person mode after beating the game once, so... :)
