One person? Impressive. Love the atmosphere. Need a Mouse look move - or right Shift to run. Glitch?
I have played and also watched a playthrough on youtube. I love the whole look, feel, music. Hard to believe one guy really made this. Camera shots and angles are great. Old style PS2 feel and not just Silent Hill but also a Fatal Frame vibe. In fact all the washed out grays say Fatal Frame more to me.

I'm the kind of weirdo loner who would want to would live in a place like this for a while. Total quiet. Echoes of the past. Stress-free living but melancholy and creepy. Which means I look forward to immersion in the full game.

Hope it is released in the near future - I will buy it. Again kudos to the developer. Now on to ...

My Gripe: A lack of mouse-look from the default controls makes running with ONLY the Left Shift very awkward because you can't "turn" without using other keys. Also makes the inventory screen a little awkward. Some finger gymnastics. I guess it would be better with a controller or Steam Deck but I can't be bothered to set my controller up with Steam most times. If we want to insist on "Dpad" style controls then please make the Right Shift also run by default, that way I can turn while running without a 3 finger dance.

Other than that I look forward to it. I assume other control options will be made post-demo.

Also - One thing I thing I noticed was the video "glitch" at the very beginning of the game. It was a glitch in the POV of the player / character, not just the screen. This could indicate:

1. An artistic view where the vehicle's glitch is represented in the player's view
2. The character has cybernetic implants and "sees" the glitch connected to the vehicle
3. The whole thing is not real, and the player is in some kind of virtual reality

If it's #3, well ... I'm not sure I like that. Hoping for 1 or 2.

Hey, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I'll try and make sure both left and right shift function for running.

You can rest assured there is no 'it was all just a virtual reality simulation' plot in this game :)
