Cannot pick up pack

I went to a city to get some ducats through commerce trade but when i walked into the town the pack wass on the ground and i can't pick it up. Why is this happening

Can you provide a video of what you are trying to say, I'm not quite understanding it. Are you saying that you bought some commerce goods and your backpack was on the ground, right? You would press "r" to "mount" the goods (basically, pick them up). If that is not the issue, please provide a video.

Occationally if you get a bad lag spike when you put down stuff you're trading you won't be able to pick it back up.
(something to do with it not being where the server thinks it is so where it looks like it is and is registered at isn't actually where it is.)
It's rare but if that's what you mean then you're unfortunately gonna ahve to cut your losses and move on to another trade.
