Girgashiy is a hacker!
After I brought his health down to half way (wasting my remaining NX on nao stones), he freaking starts hacking and physically attached my character on him. Then he goes into turbo mode and constantly uses area attacks like crazy. This is hard mode in G19 quest on the Realization quest.

I'm pretty much warping all over the place as a dead character.

If you wasted so many Nao stone on this piece of !@#!@#!@, would you be able to get refunds?
Because it's quite clear that it's freaking cheating (solo boss).

Oh great I can't even target him at all since he's next to a cliff and im attached to him with a weird invisible pole and my coordinates seems to be sent from the server so it overrides my movement.

I'm stuck on his coord and at the same time not (when he animates my character warps around and whenever he swings and my character isn't being thrown into the arc by his telekinesis, i don't get hit... but when he does swing and i get gravity gunned into the range, I take a damage.

You sir, are a dumbass.
Girgashiy is an NPC. He cannot BE a hacker. only a HACK or the game's SCRIPTED PROGRAM.
The attack you're mentioning is the ability he uses when you've dropped his health enough. It's only with the winged variety. He'll warp to your character and grab your character. notice a bar with a number pops up. That's how many hits you need to get to get him to let go. People say you can smack him by clicking him, but I recommend spamming pets with summon attacks. Even then, chances are, all you can do is brace for impact.

If you think it's hard NOW, you're gonna hate the finale. Quit the questline for now, get stronger, then come back.

This is a 2.5k player giving you his honest recommendation.
And at 2.5k, I can honestly tell you, I died so many times.
I hate that boss. It's why I nicknamed him Gargledick. He's stronger than any other boss in the game.

This dude has never heard of sarcasm.

And I'm level 3500+.
He's suppose to only use his mineral strike roughly every 40 seconds but oddly in the battle I experienced he does it every 5-10 seconds.

Pretty much the boss is the cheapest monster in the game since it's designed to be raided by 16 players. Also it might be intentional of them to be designed that way to waste your nao stones (since good players are known to rarely die, so they designed it to kill players by a deadly fast skill activation). Uses a skill every 5 seconds with almost every skill that bypasses the point of having defense or protection or high amounts of health in the game.

But when you glitch into the boss, it doesn't help it if you even used Wings of Eclipse for protection because he'll use his one hit kill move every 5 seconds (you aren't given any miliseconds to respond).

Oh, he teleports to you. Constantly. And until you beat a certain point of G19 shield of trust rank N will stay rank N, gives ZERO damage reduction to gargashiy's skills.

I don't see what total level has to do with this discussion being that this boss doesn't care what your level is cause he'll constantly drop down death upon you.

It's called an over exaggeration. It's basically a metaphor to describe his hatred in this.. so called boss. I don't see why you have to be directly offensive about it. Unless you misunderstood the post entirely, cause it's technically an angry post about this boss.

Onto the topic; there's no real way to fight this boss without getting damaged. You need to store copious amount of health potions, and I mean it. When you see him fly up, you're going to need to activate whatever that shield Crusader skill (Shield of Trust?). Right timing should lessen the damage and stop knock backs.

The moment you start getting his health low, he'll start grabbing you and do a one shot move. I'm not entirely sure what to do against being grabbed, but I know for sure, when he starts spewing out dark smogs out of his mouth, it means you need to run, and once your shadow comes out. You need to attack it to stop it from moving towards the boss. If it reaches to Girgashiy, then you're dead.

If none of you have noticed, you're still able to do certain skills while he's grabbing you. Life Drain for instance will still work while he's grabbing you. Also I don't know why people keep saying the finale is hard. The finale is super easy compared to the first time you fight him with the wings. I finished in like 15 minutes. The only thing you need to do in the first part is Sand Blast against the Ancient Monsters. They stop completely and gives you time to Judgement Blade. For the second part the two Girgash die in like 3 hits if you use Judgement Blade. If you counter with shield of trust at the right moment you can cast Judgement Blade before he lands and strike him with it.

Also in regards to Soul Absorption skill, once he gets below 28% he begans to spam it. I noticed that even if he kills you and let's say his health is at 15%; he can still take your shadow and recover back to 28%. Staying dead was a bad idea in my case. After I figured out how to stop it, it wasn't much of an issue anymore. It is definitely a boss designed to be cheap. I haven't died so much since when I first started the game in late 2008. Was very annoying to say the least. After the finale your skills rank to F.

For once I managed to beat G19 because I took my time rather than use melee and wailing on it.

What I did was call a pet out to hit it when it's health starts to drop to around half way, and compared to the last time i fought him, I actually tried to gather potions so I could survive (i had none by the time I reached the winged gargash the first time due to wasting it earlier). Dual guns spamming helps you dodge roll around the boss sometimes, and it's especially handy since you keep your distance when he uses soul absorption and your clone doesn't appear right underneath him.

Up till this generation, I've never really had to use much potions for any of the monsters or boss fights because they either hit me for ones, or couldn't harm me in paladin+demigod form, or I could stunlock or knock them away and not get hit.

What causes a lot of rage is when you only have melee and he uses soul absorption within 1 feet of you.

I have rank E shield of trust... Damage reduction from gargash's skills are still crap (tried a solo raid... being hit by mineral w/ shield does like 300, w/o shield does like 330 out of my 660 hp).

I used the potions I got from the event and when I actually started dying it was because I ran out lol. Also, I mainly used melee and alchemy against it. I r1ed all the gun skills but after I r1ed something I tend to stop using the skills associated with the talent if getting them took a huge amount of time. For the most part the stats were all that mattered. I was actually windmilling him before I noticed the reason I was dying. Was lauging and raging at the same time. It was a shock for me. Hell, I don't use trans of any kind anymore. I don't need to.

I RAN OUT of those event potions a long time ago. I stoppd playing mabinogi until recently for Saga II so I didn't gather anymore and nor do i have any of the 'manus' fishing bait for potions.

And yeah, using heavy damage attacks seems to draw his aggro to you nomatter what.

Well I didn't need to use mine as frequently. I actually ran out while I was fighting the winged one. I died quite a bit before I noticed the shadow thing. Then you add in my r1 life drain so my supply lasted a bit. I still have a bank tab full with them as well. I hate making potions and I have r1 making. Kinda wish, I knew what I was stepping into before I did it.

Gargashiy is the #1 enemy that will force you to die, or win while potion poisoned.
All it's attack does % damage and other than his simple melee, through your mana shield.

No idea if his mineral attacks are considered magical or physical.

Lol, I don't use Mana Shield anymore either so I never found that bit out. Also I have rank 2 potion lore. I haven't been potion poisoned since this skill came out.

Now that I fought him, he's definitely beatable if you have a good amount of people with you.
