Is Dark Knight worth switching to?
Hello guys. I have another question I'd like opinions/facts on. And it's the title. I'm currently a Champion Paladin and I'm thinking of finally finishing up G1 and 2 (yeah it's a little bugged for me...can't choose G1 so I was forced to choose G2 yet I can do all the G1 quests anyway apparently) and start G3. I keep hearing different things. I hear Paladin is better for warriors and melee types and Dark Knight is better for all range types. I've heard people have regretted switching. I've also heard DK is just all around better to go to. So...what exactly is right? Obviously I only have one chance to switch or stay; and once that chance passes my choice is permanent. So I'd like to know the differences, advantages and disadvantages, etc. Thanks for your feedback as always.

Simply, Paladins rule in the arts of all combat (including Ninja, even though it's not entirely melee; its base stats are STR/WILL).

Where as Dark Knights contribute heavily in almost all ranges. Even though it's a sort of game of luck since the stats will be at random. I don't really care.

The HP/MP/STA boost greatly helps out alchemy. And the INT that Paladin's don't give will help Guns and Mages greatly (Guns stats; STR/INT).

Maybe the majority of the people that become a Dark Knight are interested in the fact that Infra's don't detransform, instead, they bleed out. So if you have like, gazillion Nimbus', expect to be in your Dark Knight Transformation for a long period of time.

IN SHORT
Paladin gives WILL and DEF boost where as Dark Knights give INT and MP boost (higher HP boost but lower STAM boost than Paladin's and higher DEX but lower STR boost than Paladin's)

Honestly later on it doesnt even really matter. It literraly just turns into a free in game stat recovery skill.

Technically it already is but I still use Paladin for combat once in a while. And depending on how lower the stamina boost is for DK...I doubt that would really matter. I think my end game will be bent more on magic and/or alchemy. This is the one game I've been completely fascinated by magic and while I hear it's a real pain to master....I've used it before and seen its power and I can definitely see myself becoming a mage in the future. But....also considering no one uses Paladin or DK (unless they're sore losers) it won't matter in PvP. So I think I will switch to DK. It really couldn't hurt. A boost is a boost. Thanks for the feedback and thanks for the information Dial-Up.

fist of all dark knight boost is randome you can get hp stam or mp you can also get str int or dex, meaning that dark knight even tho it sounds week from his point can actuly bosot def also wich alot of players dont pay atention to..... point is DK it not based on one class its based on all and boost all randomly when you change into it
