[Answered] How do I set the in-game clock to my local time?
It's currently showing a time that is many hours different than mine.

I believe the game clock is showing in-game time which is most usually diffferent from every one 's time since it runs many times faster (about a minute and a half real time to every in game hour)

You can set alarms in game time or real time. For various puposes.

OK, I guess those purposes will become clear in time? :)

Well, for example, certain part time jobs take place at certain times every in-game day. However certain quests reset at certain times every real day.

I have an alarm set for 5:50 am ingame, so I know when to use transformation before it resets.
The timescale ingame, is MUCH quicker than actual time. Seriously. Watch it go for some time, you'll see it fly by. Like mentioned before, some part time jobs start and end at specific times, and the alarm helps you grind it into your mind that they do so.

Yeah, like these people have said, it's in-game time. It also makes meeting up with people with that time easier since everyone gets the same time. (If they're on different channels it's slightly ahead/behind though) You can set an alarm for any in-game or real life time to help remind you of things you need to do. The clock goes a lot faster then real time, I think a full day is like half an hour in real time? I don't know the exact time.

Anyways, yeah. Also every real life day has bonus' to specific skills or actions. If you highlight your pointer over the clock, it should show up with todays bonus'.

The real-time alarm is actually x hours different from your time zone if memory serves, so if your time zone is EST and you set your alarm for 5pm, it assumes that you're talking about 5pm on the west coast, which means that your alarm will go off at 8pm your time~
