Not really something Nexon can do themselves, since it's devcat that are the ones that develop and update the game - they'd have to wait on them to make an update to the game which Nexon can then push out to the different regions.

i really dont understand how people have so many issues with mabi, i mean, iv installed and played mabi on 6 different pcs, 3 laptops and 3 desktops, on xp, vista, 7, 8, 8.1, and I did have a hiccup or two along the way but the game played just fine once i sorted it out.

though, that said, windows 10 is seriously a problem... but no worries, it will take a month or two anyway generally to fix all the launch bugs windows always tends to have.

I wouldn't say Many, just people who are dumb. Which yeah, now that I think about it I guess does count as a lot.

Win7 is still being supported till 2020, which is plenty of time lay plans for switching to a linux based system and let Microsoft's OS department die once and for all after all the inevitable bugs and fallout over Win10 drives everyone away.

wat. No. Its only mabi,. every single other game works fine. I have used the preview build since last year.

No, it's not only Mabinogi. When upgrading to a new version of windows, you should have known the risk of uncompatability for anything on your computer.

I just saw Mabigoni as a new game to try today, and I find out I can't play because I upgraded to Win10 a couple days ago. I had no idea before I downloaded thr game that it was unplayable on my OS. This is the first game/program I've found that seems to have problems.

There's been a small handful - all of nexon's games and Nosgoth being among them.

Until an update to the games are rolled out by Nexon people have been doing a rather messy work-around by launching another Nexon game first (like MapleStory, as that's likely the least resource intensive), and waiting for that to not load, than load the game they want to play after.

Vindictus works, from what i know of.

and for those searching for the "work around" to get mabi to work on WIN10 is to run vindictus to its login page (dont login) then just minimize it and run mabi.

EDIT:
I dont think you actually have to keep vindictus open even, i just closed it while in mabi (playing on character) and my mabi is still running fine.

Well, vindictus is not exactly an "entirely" different game.

Vindictus is actually the second mabinogi game, it has similar story and items, vastly different combat.

Vindictus is one of the games, but people have also gotten to do the same thing using MapleStory (thus my suggestion since it's a lot smaller than vindictus)

Using the Vindictus trick still has issues and Mabi will randomly force close/crash because it has something to do with hackshield/nguard/whatever horrible anticheat they use not being updated for Windows 10.
