Anyone have r1? If so where did you train for the 4 or more requirement?

If you're lucky and have access to outfits that have high value -CP enchants (Raccoon Cub, etc), meeting training requirements like that'll be much easier.

If the 4 or more requirement isn't CP based, you could always kill those mongoose in Iria. There's always a bunch of them together.

I have the racoon cub but it alone doesn't even bring my cp down far enough. I'm pretty sure it's because the meteor skill came out way after I had already r1 all the skills that make my cp skyrocket. Fireball, Blaze, Final Hit, etc. Are there any other enchants that can go with the raccoon cub for gloves, helm, and boots?

i dont like metore its the cooldown

The stupid part is that the blast radius is much smaller than fireball.

Sorry, didn't notice that there was a reply earlier (blame Steam for that).
There are -CP enchants for the other equipment, though some of them you risk losing the item if the enchant fails:
  • Head: Thin (Rank 8 Prefix, -100) + Uncomfortable (Rank 8 Suffix, -100)
  • Hands: Small (Rank 8 Prefix, - 100) + Damaging (Rank 9 Suffix, -100)
  • Feet: Vicious (Rank 8 Prefix, -100) + Inconvenient (Rank 8 Suffix, -100)
  • Weapons: Scrap (Rank 3 Prefix, -500) or Arc Lich (Rank 6 Prefix, -250)
  • Shields: Abysmal (Rank 6 Suffix, -500)

Take the shield out of the equation because I can't use my abysmal cooking pot with the hermit staff. But scrap on the staff seems like a really good idea. However, my enchant rank is only r7 and I'm not for risking losing that staff. I'll see if I can find someone. The r1 enchanters I used to know don't play anymore.

If you need help with enchanting a few years from now, I should have it to r1 by then 8D

Seriously, wish they'd change how Enchant training worked. I dare say it's probably worse than Blacksmithing.

I disagree. At least you can farm Enchant through Alby normal for the first part. There's no way in hell to farm blacksmithing.

Go to Shylien Area 2 for Meteor Training.

I have R1 combat mastery and Smash :) Did a bunch of training at Rundal and Rabbie, kept doing the free rebirthing too for extra EXP.
Lon 'Qu the Betta Jun 21, 2014 @ 10:29pm
I'd probably choose rundal and go in with as many crystals as possible. Set up spikes and do meteor on all those Gnolls, Knolls, and Sahagins. Wait 30 minutes to use it again. That's an all day thing if I do it that way. Cooldown is ridiculous.

I use the main room in The Other Alchemists shadow mission. If you have a way to manage aggro (e.g. elf hide, crystal deer hide, rank 1 Rain Casting, lullaby, etc.), hit all four orbs and then meteor away.

The golems have a high enough CP that on Hard they are awful for me with around 3.2k CP. If you need boss kills, simply use a tendering potion.

I'd have to take a tendering potion since they were strong to me last time I did it. As far as managing aggro I'll just use my spikes to get them to gather and then launch the meteor. I'll give it a shot, thanks.

I just ran Ciar and used the switch rooms to get enough targets throughout all the ranks.

This made me laugh, but yes, lower ranks make it redonkabonk to get the multiple hits you need. HOWEVER, I suggest you train this in the Shadow Mission, "Offering". Every enemy will be within very close proximity.

Edit: Meteor Strike Master title is nice~
